Harris Stay-Silv White Brazing Flux is an all-purpose, low-temperature flux designed for silver brazing applications. Packaged in a 6.5 oz brush cap bottle for convenient application, the homogeneous flux formulation provides smooth application, even coverage, and excellent protection during brazing heat cycles. Stay-Silv White Flux is ideal for silver brazing cast iron, copper, brass, bronze, steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, and other ferrous base metals. It is commonly used with high-silver brazing filler metals and is also suitable for use with many phosphorus-copper-silver alloys, including applications involving brazing copper to brass. The flux has an activity range of 1050°F to 1600°F (565°C to 870°C), making it suitable for applications requiring normal brazing heat. It is widely used in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, fabrication, maintenance, metal repair, and other professional brazing applications. For use with silver brazing alloys on appropriate base metals. Not recommended for aluminum, magnesium, or titanium. Meets AWS A5.31 Classification FB3-A, AMS 3410, Federal Specification O-F-499 Type B, and EN 1045 Type FH10.
